Angel has talent. Kahit saang istasyon siya, she will be an excellent artist because I think that is her personal goal, to be better. I am so happy though that she moved to ABS because I am a TFC subscriber. I really watch her shows. Siya lang pinapanood ko dati sa GMA. She is really a big lost to them, that’s why they are still bitter. Hindi siya nalaos, more people know and like her now WORDLWIDE.

Wala ng epekto ang Angel Locsin para mapataas ang rating ng mga shows sa dos. Nag guest sa wowowee, talo sa ratings. Nag guest sa Buzz, talo din, he he he, nag guest sa Entertainment connect, grabe, nilamon ng startalk ang ratings! Wawa naman, ang aga niyang nalaos.

have followed angel’s career, but now that she is moving to ABS, I am terribly disappointed. Talagang nowadays loyalty is a rare virtue. i am not judging her – di ko naman siya kilala nang lubusan – but from where i stand and i think i am entitled to my own opinion – parang di maganda yung ginawa niya. talagang maraming talents sa kabila – para sa akin mas gugustuhin ko kahit nasa maliit na bahay lang ako ako naman ang reyna – kesa lumipat nya ako sa palasyo – isa lang naman akong dama…

Does ABS-CBN really need Angel? Not really. But by taking away Angel from GMA, they remove one of the thorns in their ratings war against GMA. So it really helps ABS-CBN a lot. That’s all they really need to do. They don’t really need to put Angel in any ABS-CBN show, they just needed Angel not to be in GMA anymore. This is the reason why I think it is not a good move for Angel career wise since GMA is already giving her projects and I don’t know if ABS-CBN will give her any “better†projects unless they are paying her more which I think is not the case. Does Angel desperately need to work with Christopher de Leon that’s why she left GMA? I doubt it. Angel is already getting the top-rated shows in Mega Manila being on GMA so what is ABS-CBN going to give her career-wise? Definitely not more viewers (she already did that on her own) and she’s already the highest paid artist in all of GMA.
So it looks like it was either money, or the bad blood between Angel Locsin and GMA reached a boiling point.
I don’t think this will affect GMA much, since I think they’ve been focusing on story-telling rather than personalities in some of their shows anyway for some time now. ABS-CBN is clearly the winner in this deal since all they need to do is give Angel a movie — for as long as she is not in the other network, they’ve already scored a couple points in the ratings game. Angel Locsin for me is the clear loser. ABS-CBN is already crowded with female stars and then she comes in expecting to be the queen? And what if the TV-series she stars in for ABS-CBN loses in the ratings? She is now throwing herself at the mercy of the ABS-CBN production team which she has never worked with in her life — a production team she has repeatedly beaten in the ratings with her years in GMA. That’s a career move? Boggles the mind. And Angel’s fans are GMA fans — and then she expects them to switch because of her? I think Angel and her manager are over-estimating their influence in Philippine showbiz.
Again, a lot of money and/or communication breakdown with GMA. ABS-CBN should pair Angel Locsin with Sam Milby for immediate impact. It could be the ratings winner they have been waiting for all these years.
Angel gave up her crown at GMA to become a second class citizen of the second class channel ABS. I can’t help but compare her to angelika dela cruz ang angelu de leon. Nalaos sila pareho nung lumipat sa ABS. Nakakatawa pa kasi all their names start with ANGEL! What a coincidence!

My family and most of my relatives who are solid kapuso were really disppointed
with Angel. She is almost an icon to the new generation of stars. She and her manager’s act of unprofessionalism was really a major turn-off and showed lack of breeding. I pereceived and admired her as an actress of good breeding but it proved us otherwise. Obviously, they bought time. “Pa London London effect pa sila” It was not a question of “lipatan” but the issue of courtesy. She will not be in her level now if not for the station that honed her and gave her the image that she is right now, thus, the endorsements that she has at the moment. Ang alam ko marami ng reyna sa ABS like Juday and Claudine. Sa GMA she is treated more like a queen. She was truly nurtured. One thing, don’t compare yourself to the TF of Richard Gutierrez. The guy came from a family of stars who deserve a disparity compared to yours. Besides, drama ka lang as that’s your only talent. Richard has more shows than you thus, he is truly worthy of it. Ilearned, magpapaalam ka pagdating mo? For what reason, dadrama ka na naman? Sorry but it’s Marian for us. Mas freash and beautiful Not plastic.

kudos to ms. galvante’s interview re: angel locsin. the gma executive is so dignified and very professional. sabi nga nya, fine kung lilipat cla. d point is twice clang tinanong nagdeny, tpos nalaman na lng nakikipagnegotiate na pala sa kabila. ano tawag dun? sinunganaling at gahaman sa pera itong manager ni Angel locsin na ayokong bangitin ang name ksi ala namang kwenta! life has to go on with GMA, they could always hone a big star. but with locsin malalaos agad yan sa ABS dahil gagamitin lng cya and later on wl be dropped like a hot potato. ganyan ang ABS walang puso, gahaman sa salapi. bagay cla nung manager nya na mukhang tuso. mukha pa lng sa TV nakakarimarim na na!! maganda ung comment ni lolit solis regarding ke angel dun sa startalk last saturday. sana napanood nyo. sabi kc ni lolit matagal na siyang nag aalaga ng mga talents, if ever daw n may offer na mas malaki sa alaga nya, sasabihin nya un s home studio nya dahil un daw ang ikabubuti ng alaga nga. but sa case ni angel, pinaasa nya ang home studio nya but the fact is they secretly made negotiations with the other network. yan ung matatawag nating traydor.
di naman pala nagpaalam nang maayos yang angel locsin and her manager. at twice din pala siyang tinanong kung lilipat siya and on both occasions she denied the rumors na lilipat na siya. kung career move nga yung matatawag – yung pag-alis niya ng gma – fine – lumalabas lang ngayon na they did not even have the decency of courteously informing gma na aalis na siya at lilipat. oh well, talaga kasing di nabibili ang breeding – it is either you have it or you don’t. di na pinag-uusapan ngayon yung paglipat niya – yung paraan na lang ng paglipat niya ang issue.
well, anyway, since final na yung paglipat niya – let’s just hope that she gets over this and moves on – pero huwag na siyang uulit nang ganoon na umaalis nang hindi nagpapaalam nang maayos…
and to gma – the public knows what you did for angel – at yun i-acknowledge man ng kampo ni angel o hindi – di magbabago – talagang you really made a big star out of her. of course, we also saw how angel cooperated, but the opportunities you gave her were really something else. her rise to stardom was magical, so to speak. di ako mahilig sa mga fantasy series, but I too was enthralled by it all.
anyway, wag nang manghinayang – marami pa namang ibang anghel diyan sa paligid..na karapat-dapat din namang maging kapuso…

Hindi lang naman pera ang dahilan kung bakit lumipat si Angel.
Kahit sabihin mong, pera ang isa sa mga dahilan, marami ring
iba pang dahilan kung bakit siya lumipat. Maaaring mga taong
nasa paligid niya, o ang management, o maaaring gusto niyang iwasan
ang isa o dalawang taong naiinggit sa kaniya. Eh, tao din naman siya,
di ba? Nasa sa kaniya na yun, mga kaibigan !!! Tinanong ko siya mismo,
sabi niya: ” Kagustuhan ko eh ;), I have all the right to make decisions
for my own sake, and not for the sake of others. This is my life, and not
theirs. If I succeed, then it was a good decision. But if I fail, I cannot
blame no one but me. Then, I will try again or go to other avenues.”
Yan ang sabi niya. Just to let everyone know, she loves all her FANS
all over the world. So, regardless of where she works, whether GMA or
ABS-CBN, please continue supporting her. Sa lahat naman ng FANS ni
Kristine Hermosa (my best fren), please continue supporting her also.

malungkot na balita sa aming sumabaybay sa career nya sa GMA. oo nga’t natulungan nya ang network pero she was also very blessed with her alliance with the network. hindi biro-birong break ang ibinigay sa kanya ng gma. masyadong maraming stars sa abs na mas magaganda at magagaling at established na kesa sa kanya. i am so disappointed – hope she made the right decision – but from where i stand – “i’d rather be the head of a mouse, than the tail of a tiger”

Malaking kawalan si Angel Locsin sa GMA-7. Paborito siya ng mga anak ko dahil na rin sa magagandang programa na ginawa niya. Hindi pangkaraniwan ang mga proyekto at kaya naman marami ang humahanga sa artistang yan. Sana’y matuloy niya ito sa ABS-CBN at huwag mawala ang tingin ng marami na siya ang pinakamagaling babaeng artista sa telebisyon.
